Description of Japanese Sums This app can be used as game, then a Japanese-Sum riddle will be generated and you can try to solve it, or you can use the app for solving a Japanese-Sum riddle from other sources. If you use the app for playing, click the "new game" button to generate a new ridlle. Using the check button will show you which of your values are right (green coloured) or false (red coloured).Using the solve button will solve the entire riddle and show you the solution. If you want to use the app for solving a given riddle, press the solve riddle button, then enter the sum values in the corresponding fields. Press solve to solve the riddle. For further Versions, improvement of the usability (save games, improved user interface), is planned. Rules:The Game is played on a quadratic grid. The size of the grid can be chosen by the player. At the beginning of the game the grid is empty. On the left and on the upper corner of the playfield values, corresponding the the lines an columns of the grid are written down. You have to fill the grid with numbers so that:- every number is singular per line per collumn. The number must be smaller or equal to a maximal value. - Addition of the numbers result to the numbers wich are given on the playfields border. (in the corresponding order). Version history Japanese Sums New in Japanische Summen 1.2.1 Displaying the top 100 List is now possible. Some bugs related with internet access fixed. The Score is now evaluated by the formula n^3-m^3, where n is the playfield size and m is how often the check funktion was used while playing. The current score is uneffectet. New in Japanische Summen 1.2.0 A highscorefunction was introduced. For every field in solved a riddle you get a point, i.e. fpr wingo 777a solved 4x4 riddle you get 16 points. However, everytime when you use the check button a point is deducted. In the current version, the app shows you your score and the global high score.The points are cummulativ. Support of a detailed highscore list will be implemented in a later version. New in Japanische Summen 1.1.1 Bugfix: Interrupting the riddle creation process using the cancel button in the progress dialog, was causing a null pointer exception. This issue is fixed now.
